The 7th Tradition Page The meetings held at The Recovery Bridge Community follow the Twelve Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous. The short form of the Seventh Tradition states that "Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions." Meetings held at Recovery Bridge have no dues or fees. Each of the meetings held is entirely self-supporting. You have the opportunity to contribute to the self-support of the meetings you attend when visit our web site. Self-support for meetings held at The Recovery Bridge Community includes the expenses that meetings pay for the telephone and Internet services they use, and the other services that support the teleconference form of A.A. meeting. The remainder of each meetings contributions are distributed in the usual way: 60% to the local recovery program office, 30% to the national recovery program office, 5% to the local area or district recovery program office, and 5% to the local representatives to the national recovery program office and/or conference. A Treasurer¡¯s Report for the meetings held at The Recovery Bridge Community is available for viewing on the 15th of the following month in which contributions are collected. |
